BAY TO BREAKERS
2006
It was fantastic to feel all the love today at the race! The sun
broke out, and we rocked Marx meadow for 3 straight hours with wild
San Francisco. Thank you to all who stopped by to give us hugs,
kisses, interpretive dance, and impromptu perfomances. What an honor
to be a part of this historic event (95 years old!) and sing for
65,000 enthusiastic folks!

IN THE WORKS
Melissa is shooting a video for "Nothing, Nothing," on
location in Lake Tahoe and San Francisco. Release date will likely
be in early fall, to coincide with the next album.

Grizzly Radio 89.9 FM featured Melissa daily on their morning program
during the July 4-day festival, and also played "Nothing, Nothing,"
from her upcoming album.
SXSW MUSIC CONFERENCE
Melissa just returned from a GoGirls showcase at Austin's SXSW Music
Conference this March!
WEST COAST SONGWRITER
ASSOCIATION AWARDS
Melissa's song "No Resisting You" won Best Song from WCS
at their July event at the Freight and Salvage in Berkeley. "Down,
So High" also won Best Performance at the Sacramento competition.
INTERVIEW ON NEWSROOM
The producer of Newsroom on AccessSF recently interviewed Melissa
regarding her experiences as an independent female musician and
previewed tracks from her upcoming release. The episode aired in
